Indonesian citizen born in 1954. Accepted the position of President Director PT Medco E & P Indonesia in April 2005. Before joining MedcoEnergi he held a position at BP Indonesia as Senior Vice President for the Tangguh LNG project. Held various positions in the Operation & Engineering, Project Construction, and General Support responsibilities in VICO Indonesia for almost 18 years. Began his career with construction companies in 1980-1983 as a Construction Engineer, and then joined Huff co/VICO Indonesia in 1983. He received a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Sepuluh November Surabaya Institute of Technology ( ITS ) in 1980.
