Business Summit (Büsum) represents a strategic tool for the alumni of ITS to provide input and direct discussions with the Minister of sectors: Energy and Mineral Resources, Industries, Public Works, Marine & Fishery, ICT and also Head of BKPM. In the session stage will present the general economic policies by the Economic Coordinating Minister Hatta Rajasa.
After a long anticipated and was delayed several times, finally activities Business Summit (Büsum) IKA ITS 2010 will be held on June 23, 2010 at the Ritz Carlton Jakarta. This event will be attended by more than 300 participants (alumni ITS and invitations) and the present Economic Coordinating Minister and Ministers of the relevant sectors in accordance with ITS alumni competence. Activity model divided into two sessions, on the morning would be no exposure in the general form of the stadium by the Economic Coordinating Minister and Head of BKPM who will present the program out to hook the economy and investment of Rp 2,000 trillion to achieve growth of 5.8% in 2010. After lunch there will be sessions chamber (room), where each Minister will present the special program in the ministry, which will then place an interactive dialogue with alumni of ITS and the invitation.
One day earlier, which is dated June 22, 2010 on the night will dikelar "Alumni ITS Gathering." In this work, intended as a venue for alumni of the ITS, representatives of Regional Executives, agencies under the IKA IKA ITS and ITS administrators. On this occasion, presented also highlighted IKA ITS programs from 2007 to 2011 period.
According to the Chairman of the Steering Committee, Ir. Widodo Santoso (Marketing Director of PT. Semen Padang), this event will be held each year as part of its contribution to IKA ITS ITS and alumni to provide input to the Government. This is in line with AD ART IKA-ITS, which emphasized that the IKA ITS is an organization of alumni who take an active role in contributing to the country and the wider community. College graduates, including alumni of ITS has a characteristic that certainly will be different with professional organizations and businesses that had previously provided advice to the Government. ITS alumni who work in all business sectors, including expertise and interaction with the field of government regulations, must be able to provide inputs that are highly detailed and integrated. Supposing the construction sector alone, the alumni of ITS work / have the expertise of a consultant planner, supervisor, contractor, supplier / partner up with financing. Thus, in one industry sector / enterprise, the role of ITS alumni from A up to Z.
The focus of the exposure, by any Minister as follows:
- Minister of Industry: the efforts made reindustrialization at political instability and legal.
- Minister of Communications and Informatics: connectivity and ICT infrastructure to improve competitiveness.
- Minister of Energy: Implementation of the field of energy policy.
- Minister of Public Works: Development of infrastructure to achieve the target investment.
- Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries: Implementation of marine and fisheries sector policy and banking financing
After the second session is completed, it will read out the main points Büsum result IKA ITS and Recommendations, which in one weeks time will be communicated officially to the President of Indonesia
